Best Pet Names

I've been compiling a list of names for large and small dogs and puppies for some time. There are a number of sources of inspiration for dog names large and small, including things that are big or small and synonyms of the words large and small.
Large animals are a good source of names for big dogs. Bear and elk are large furry mammals, such as the proper name of a shaggy dog. The huge hairy mammoth elephant like animals millions of years ago, and so it's good for the names of a big hairy dog. Dino, a species of dinosaur, fits any big dog. Are the names of Cryptozoology Sasquatch and Monster, with Sasquatch be another good choice for a stuffed dog.
Great things are also a good source of inspiration for great dog names. Mountain, geography is a good option – especially for a fat dog. Sumo, and the heavy Japanese Sumo wrestlers, is another good option for a big, fat dog.
Mythology is a great source of names. In Greek mythology Hercules Titan, with Hercules being especially good for a strong dog. Goliath was a giant Philistine warrior legendary.
Finally, it means big names are always an excellent choice. These include large, colossal, gargantuan, giant, huge, Jumbo, Large, Massive, Max and Mega.
Small animals are a good source of names for small dogs. Cub and mouse are good for small dogs. Flea is also good, though not so flattering, especially for a very small dog.
Small Food are also a good source of names for small dogs. Cupcake (small cake) Muffin, or peanuts (which can also mean small) are good choices, nice especially for dogs.
Tiny mythical creatures are nice options, including Pixie, Sprite, and Tinkerbell. These names are probably the most advantageous for girl dogs.
Things that are small are good inspiration. Kewpie, as in the Kewpie doll is a beautiful name, especially for a girl. Electron is a good name for a small dog that is also fast. Nugget, Pebble, thimble and three smaller things.
Finally, a number of words that mean small, including Bitty, Itsy, Itty, Dainty (best for a girl), Dinky, Small, Micro, Mini, Peewee, Petite (the best for a girl), Nano, Speck, Teensy, Tiny and Wee.
Also popular is an ironic name, in which the name of a small dog with a big dog's name, or a large dog with a small dog name. Examples of this would be a Great Dane and a Chihuahua named Little called Moose.
