City ordinance….How many animals you are allowed?

On June 1, my small town is having a city ordinance in affect for the number of pets you can have 4 is the max….I have 5…the fine is $200 a day….How can you chose?….It hurts me so bad…I love my dogs..they are big part of our family..I have 3 dogs that I found in a trash bag on the side of the road in 110 degree weather..I raised them, bottled feed them, the other ones are my kids..they have had them since they were toddlers…now they are teenagers and thier dogs are thier best friends. What Should I do? Complain? I dont really know how city ordinance come about. Please share any thoughts or feelings you may have.

I’M SO SORRY! THAT IS ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS. I’M SURE IT HAS IT’S REASONS, BUT 5 DOESN’T SOUND LIKE TOO MANY. FIGHT IT!!!!! THOSE DOGS THINK YOU ARE MOM DON’T GIVE THEM UP!WITH ALL THE HOMELESS ANIMALS IN THE WORLD THEY ARE TRYING TO ADD ONE MORE TO THE LIST. I WOULD MOVE OR KEEP IT QUIET. IF ANYONE ASKS SAY YOU ARE DOG SITTING OR SOMETHING. HOW WILL THEY KNOW? WHAT THEY DON’T KNOW WONT HURT THEM RIGHT? GOOD LUCK, WISH I HAD A BETTER ANSWER. PRAYING FOR YOU THOUGH.
