What is your opinion on pet licenses?

I think they are great. Some states it is a joke to get one, you just apply and pay a fee. But I am from Florida, every permit there, you have to show proof of said number of hours of experience working with that animal. I hold a Florida Venomous Permit and also a Class B & C, and Crocodilian license. I havd to work hard to get them. I think every state,especially costal/port states should follow suite. Permits keep hard to care for and potentioally dangerous animals away from people who are too lazy to learn. I am all for it!
