What do Corn Snakes Eat/ Do they make good pets?

My mom was never a fan of snakes, and a friend of mines dad said that corn snakes were good beginner snakes

Corn snakes are great in that they stay small enough to eat mice their entire life. As young corn snakes, they will eat pinkies, and as adult, they will eat adult mice! They are “boring” if you want a pet that will cuddle. They are very fun to hold, and very fun to watch eat, if you are not bothered by the death of a cute furry mouse.
