Can anybody tell me if my sentences are correct?

I have to use these words Adept, Optimal, Placate, and Cadre in my sentences please tell me if they are corect if not how would you rewrite them?

workouts in the morning before you eat is OPTIMAL for a waigth loss , because it jump starts your metabolism.
workouts in the morning before you eat is OPTIMAL for running to get the best weight loss results.
.
we have to PLACATE children who have lost a pet by hugging them and validation of their loss.

My husband is ADEPT at reading maps and gets to his distination easily.

My friend found suitable management CADRE job in India and about to live soon.

Placate is used more in the meaning of soothing an angry person rather than reassuring an unhappy person, so you might need to bring a sandwich to someone to placate him after you forgot to invite him to a banquet.

Cadre is completely wrong: two common meanings are
“a nucleus or core group especially of trained personnel able to assume control and to train others; broadly : a group of people having some unifying relationship” and
“a cell of indoctrinated leaders active in promoting the interests of a revolutionary party”.

I second the motion. Attend more to grammar and spelling, especially the latter.
