Where can I find pitbulls in NYC?

Me and my family are considering in getting a dog. I’ve told my mom on adopting a dog from a shelter but she said she wants like a new born pup or something like that. So I seen alot of pet stores that sell dogs but me and my family want to get a pitbull since it’s a very loving dog. So does anybody know where to get a pitbull around NYC?
