what are pet abandonment laws in PA?

I was relo’ed to PA for a job. We are in an extended stay until our home is ready(past scheduled date of July 15th). I placed our family dog in a boarding Kennel, so he could blow his coat and get proper exercise until we move.It has been 42 days in the Kennel. I have been harassed by the Kennel after 2 weeks with rate changes, threats,wanting my dog for adoption(no way)calls to my employment, emails, etc.Now they have contacted Animal Control. How is this abandonment? My pedigree has been kenneled on numerous occasions and never have I encountered anything like this.

42 days is a long time. I don’t know why they’re harassing you if you’ve explained the situation. Why don’t you get your dog out of there and choose a different kennel or find someone else to watch your dog.
