For those of you who love to shop and negotiate a great way to experience Japan is to visit some of the malls on the outskirts of Tokyo. They can make great date spot or be a fun way for the whole family to spend a day as there are usually facilities for children too.

1. La Fete Tama Minami Osawa

From style to be a bit like Provence in southern France (just over a stretch), this large mall is a pleasant place to spend a day shopping and sampling the restaurants and cafes. There are also toho a movie theater nearby. It has the usual mix of sports, outdoor, fashion, lifestyle products, pets, furniture, etc. The spacious environment Minami Osawa and vegetation make this a relaxing day out.

2. Grandberrry Center

It is a popular shopping center and can be very crowded on holidays and sometimes negotiations.

6. Mitsui Outlet Park Iruma

This large mall has over 200 stores, 180 outlet stores them. The main focus is in fashion. There's everything from children's fashion, outdoor and sports fashion, accessories and fashion magazines. 44 centers opened its first store in Japan making here, so definitely there is value in adopting a look.The food court has 11 stores. There are six restaurants and three bars to choose from and can even bring your pet. Also There are facilities for babies and you can rent a stroller, if desired.

7. Outlet Park Makuhari

This mall has over 90 stores, mainly focusing on fashion. The mall is quite open planned two-storey complex and is easy to move. There are over 30 restaurants.

8. Rism Outlet Mall

This was the first department store in Japan also is a bit higher than other in this list. However, with about 40 stores, is a relaxed place to shop for an afternoon.

9. Yokohama Bayside Outlet Park

Outlet mall near marinas Asia's largest. This is a beautiful spot by the sea full of shops of all sales from 30 to 70% discount. Yokohama is a good place to buy, as it is more open and expansive in Tokyo. Enjoy big open skies of Yokohama and the beautiful sea breeze while you shop or hang out in one of the numerous outdoor cafes. There's everything from designer clothing, outdoor goods, shoes, casual clothing, household articles and restaurants

10. Sano Premium Outlets

There are about 180 brands of domestic and foreign-style buildings in the architecture of the East Coast. This store has an open and green feel to it with Mt. Mikaman behind it toward the east.

It is 40 minutes by car or 90 minutes from the south exit of Shinjuku (JR Bus Terminal highway).
