Is it possible for me to travel from North Carolina with my pet on an air plane and make connections for Canad

You will not have a problem taking a pet on board a flight with most carriers, but if this is a pet that you will have to check you will have limited choices. United will except them and the charges to Canada is just like you are in the States. If this is a pet that requires an extra large kennel that could be an issue on a few aircraft since the commuter airlines will not take them. Good Luck and refer to the website of the carrier that you would like to take before you purchase the ticket!! Better safe then sorry.
