Pet Care Credit Card
should i cut back on my monthly expenses?
i just did a detailed list of everything i pay for every month. NO WONDER i’m BROKE all the time!!!!
every month: rent – internet – cable – cell phone – food – pet care – laundry – cleaners – toiletries – transportation – monthly gym fees – one huge credit card payment & Con Ed ……. and this doesnt even include clothes or going out SOMETIMES.
i think i should cut out some of these monthly expenses. a cheaper phone plan, cut out cable (i HARDLY WATCH IT), cut out the internet & find a much cheaper gym. i’d save about $300 monthly.
but am i being smart ???? or just cheap ????
I would cut out he gym membership altogether, invest in a used tread mill or work out bench for home, or even work out dvds, which are a lot cheaper.
Instead of cutting out the internet find a cheaper company to go through. Unless you have easy access to internet around your home like at a school or library, the internet is a necessity most people can not live without.
Definitely try to pay off your credit card and do not charge anything back onto it. Once that is paid off, then you will have one less monthly bill.
As for buying clothes, look into thrift shops or shop at discount stores like Ross and TJMaxx, or even outlet stores. They have quality merchandise for an inexpensive price.
All in all, you are not being cheap. In times of a recession, it is one of the smartest things to do to cut back on extra expenses.
