Where to get loan/charity for sick pet?
My three year old cat apparently swallowed a large amount of string somewhere along the line and needs intestinal surgery to the tune of $4500. There is no way I can afford this at all, all my credit cards are maxed out and I cannot get another, Care Credit already turned me down, and no one I know has any money to borrow. I called the Humane Society and they said if I turned her in, they’d just put her down because they are so full. I can’t sell anything or cut bills because I live with roommates so I can’t just start taking away the furniture or refusing to pay the cable bill. I’m at a loss!
Any ideas for places I can try to get this money? Is there some kind of pet charity out there? Any other suggestions?
