second: The Outsiders i read the book and i love it i know in the book its from ponyboys point of view and i know its written by a girl so i was wondering if its based on a true story?

also are there any other stephen king books that are true?i know pet cemetery and thinner arnt true but what about misery? or something like that? just wondering=)) thanks if you can help=))
