The hyacinth macaw is definitely the best pet unusual pet you can get in World of Warcraft.

Maybe you've seen when taking the boat from Booty Bay. Generally, flying over the ship, but unfortunately are not sold by vendors.

However, do not keep their hopes for there are two ways to acquire this rare animal. I suggest you try both, if you get really serious.

1.) You can get this rare pet free! Everything you have to do is go to a place near Booty Bay called to Stranglethorn and kill pirates.

You will need to kill at least 14,000 pirates to obtain because the drop rate is very low at 0.007%. However, you can have the same luck if you go to get it on your first try.

There is another though aspect. Each wears a pirate and loot when you kill one you get. Loot contains Mageweave cloth, silk cloth, gold and other drops. Moreover, you can sell a large quantity of gold in the auction house.

By doing this method, you can also earn the reputation of the elves in the Bay Booty. Just after the bird farm if you are planning to obtain the title Velasangre Admiral. And to that title, you must have good reputation to the pirates.

This method is completed ten days since it is all they do. Above that, you have to deal with the deaths of at least one pirate per minute.

Fortunately, there is an alternative to this method.

2.) You make a point to constantly visit the auction house and look in the section pets.

Rarely, this bird will be available for purchase, but most of the time will be very expensive.
