Pet Owners Tax Break
And now for something completely different: tax breaks for pet owners?
I posted this question in Pets earlier this afternoon, but I’m interested to see what you all think. Plus I’m tired of whining about my love life…
This proposed bill would allow pet owners to deduct up to $3500 of pet-related expenses from their taxes. What do you think? Good idea? Crazy idea? If it works for kids, why not pets? Pet owners should foot their own bill or have fewer pets? What are your thoughts on the issue?

I get a kick out of these government proposed tax breaks…”to help people who cant afford” things in general.
Do they not understand, if ya cant afford it…ya cant afford it..meaning you cant pay now and wait till spring to get your money back.
I understand the issue…and the problem for pet owners they go unemployed suddenly fluffy’s food, monthly med’s, flea treatment, and hair cuts are out of the question. it’s horrible and heartbreaking…and I’m very much a pet lover myself.
Just dont get how a tax break would Help anyone in this situation, it’s just dumb for the reasons above.
