Once upon a time was so easy to entertain children. Simply that they called each other houses or played in the woods or swimming in the local stream in summer, without a moment's hesitation, knowing they'd be safe from harm and free to play until dinner time, going home at dusk, with grazing knees and hungry. There were few real 'bought' toys around, so you start your old pumpkin ball around, played pick up sticks and 'Pooh sticks' of the mode, shots made of small stones on the pavement and generally hung out with our friends as often and for as long as possible. Dangerous to even consider a timetable for this day.

Today is not easy, nor so free from worry. Certainly, we still have forests and streams and the beautiful landscape for our children to play, but we can not free to play in these places without supervision, for fear of abduction or abuse. It's a sad, sad world where Children are unable to express themselves in free play, without the threat of serious injury, but we are stuck with it for now.

So what's the alternative? It is not possible to shadow your child at every moment of playing time, so we are all restricted to the safer pastimes that do not imply that allows our children to run as wild as what we want, perhaps.

The Local Playground is always a good choice. Organized mothers today cluster groups organize and take turns accompany several children at the playground or park. This is a great choice because it leaves off, in addition to their day's duty, of course, to go shopping or do homework own home without being constantly interrupted by children.

The computer activities are a source of fun for kids and also deep a great educational tool. Be careful, however, to allow their children unfettered access to the computer. Never allow a toddler to use the computer where you can not see the screen and occasionally check what your child is recorded. Make full use of the system of Nanny and put all appropriate restrictions on your machine to ensure your child is protected from the ugly and shocking material that infects the web today.

The groups organized summer are also a good option, So many of them are inexpensive because they are subsidized by local councils or parishes. Enjoy all the monitoring activities at local level to its children when encourage your child to develop within their own community.

The days of freedom in the game are long gone, sadly, but there are some great substitutes there if you look for them.
