What would you do if your boyfriend…….?

My boyfriend has made reference not once, not twice, but three times–on three seperate occasions– to a certain water park in Florida that “we” supposedly went to. Today (remark number three) he saw this park on the travel channel and stated, “we went there!” ( I have never been to this park in my life. He took his ex girlfriend there when they were together). Hang on. This isn’t the only reference he has made like this. He has stated how much we have enjoyed certain movies together (that I have never seen) then argues with me because my feelings get hurt. He even asked me about a pet that “we” used to have–and I never owned that certain pet with him! After tonight’s remark, I left crying and hurt because it is getting really painful. BTW, he says I am the love of his life and wants to marry me someday. Give me your honest answers and don’t hold back because I’m going to email the responses to him to prove that I have a right to be upset. Now, what say all of you out there?

Well…..He has kind of taken standard guy behavior to a new level, but we (us guys) all have a little of him in us. He probably means what he says to you. Think of it as a compliment that he is not remembering his ex as part of the good time that was had.
