How do I travel with my pet?

I recently bought a savannah kitten in Germany, and want to bring her back to the United States with me. What sort of paperwork do I need to have with me? Does she require a plane ticket? Does she need a passport?

Your pet should has to be vaccinated and in good health (your vet will prepare a certificate for that). You might even be allowed to keep your pet in the cabin for the flight, if there are no other pets on board. You have to call the airline immediately to book for your cat, because if there are other pets this might be a problem. Usually you pay for your cat depending on the airline, but it is not expensive (it is not as a ticket). You also have to see if there are import obligation for US (you can easily find this on the Internet). I traveled with my cat a lot, never had a problem and they let me keep it with me on board.
