pet right me quiz
Using HTML / Javascript / XML to make an Online Computer Based Learning program?

I own a pet store and I’m trying to find a way to optimize my learning technologies for new employee’s. I want to make computer based learning a tool, but I want to be able to customize and make the program myself, but what I am wondering is: Is there a way to make an “Online Test” with HTML or some other web-based language? Basically, the main thing I’m looking for is at the end of the “leanring sessions” to have a 20 question quiz, which will record their answer to each question, then at the end, display a % of how many they got right / wrong.

Thanks!

Yes it is possible….

However, as JavaScript is a client side language, the user has to download the entire code to run the program.

This means that any code that will check answers will be visible to the user, if they know where to look. it is possible to have JS communicate with your server using what is called Ajax, but this gets complicated.

Server-side languages, such as PHP, are your best bet.
