Is it easy to find customers for a dog walker/pet babysitter in NYC (manhattan)?
I’ve thought about moving to manhattan.. or even brooklyn for a change. I just looked up rates of pet walkers and it’s usually $30/hour per dog. That’s at the very minimum $60k/year.
Well anyway, how hard/easy is it to provide these services and be successful? Do you know anyone that has done it?
You have to be good at what you do. Provide a good service and word of mouth will get you plenty of jobs. Put up a sign at the vet office so you can start getting new customers.
