Pet Shops In New Jersey

Pet Shops cats sells?
Does anyone know where i can purchase two kittens in New Jersey for less than 90 dollars? All the pet shops i have been too only sell pet
products and not animals. If anyone can help me out it would be most
appreciative.
If any store will sell two kittens for less the $90, turn around and run out. Even in a good deal, the vet care the kitten should have BEFORE sale should be $30-$50, then there is overhead (food, care) and finally a profit. The MINIMUN price you should buy a cat at is $60, below that, it has not had proper vet care. Make sure that all the shots up to the age are done, also deworming, flea and tick prevention, ask about a rhino vaccine done, if not, why not. Rhino spreads like wild fire among cats and a good store will prevent an outbreak on the premises. Also, ask the age at which the kittens were brought in, when they were brought in, if they have not been there for 14 days, there could be latent viruses. Ask if the parents were outdoor or indoor cats. Know what type of food they are use to eating, make sure its a good quality kitten food. Make sure they eat dry food.
Finally, make sure they are socialized and played with often, if not, you’ll like end up with a cat that doesn’t like to be cuddled and picked up to much.
oh yes, and the vast majority of domestic kittens in pet stores come from the exact same sources as they do in shelters, so there is no moral issue of “rescue those first” – well, with the exception that most pet stores that sell animals have a non-kill policy now a days.
