Potty training to go outside via a bell on the door?
Has anyone tried this method of potty training? I have heard mixed reviews on whether it is a good idea to train your dog such an annoying way of asking to go outside. On the other hand, I have also heard it is a fantastic way to potty train.
My mother bought a string of a jingle bells at a pet expo for our dogs to ring. Should I actually train them to do this?
My family has used this method and the dog is good at communicating when he needs to go out. But sometimes he rings the bell to go out al ot even when he does not need to go to the bathroom.
