The best virtual pet game on the internet?

My niece Ava has just discovered a world of virtual fish. Now, she wants more virtual pets. Does anyone know of anything that’s free, and realistic? She doesn’t like Neopets and things that have little monsters, she wants something like a Nintendogs online. It’s hard to explain but could you help? Any animal will do, like a dog, cat, horse, or others. Thanks!

There’s stuffed animals called Webkinz that you can buy for around $10 and they come with a secret code that you enter at www.webkinz.com. After you do that you pick the gender and name of your pet and you get a virtual pet on that website. You can play games on the site and design a room for your pet, too.
