good pet snake in AUSTRALIA?

I’ve asked a similar question but people keep suggesting snake breeds that arent native to australia so pleeease if you answer, know what you’re talking about.
I’m wondering what kind of snakes are good to keep and not to pricey. Any suggestions…?

Go with a carpet python, they’re great snakes. I live in the states and have had mine for nearly two years, she’s my favourite, hands down.
